Washington DC & the People's Climate March!!

 So a few weeks ago Mirabella Bear and I headed down to Washington DC with a group of like-minded folks who want to change the world for the better. So began the day of the People's Climate March! I'd been working on organizing a group to go to this large demonstration for a while and this was one of the igniting elements of our group: "Ready for 100" from the Sierra Club. Our group is dedicated to campaigning for Philadelphia to become 100% renewably powered. Bella became our mascot for the day.

Trip to the Land of Aus Over Christmas Part I

It's been two months since we got back from our trip so I though it was high time I put out a post. Sorry for the delay but there's been a bunch of photos to go through!

Then is was time for Nick's 30th Birthday Party with family and friends! And dress-ups!

The party quickly turned into a housefull of people!

 As night hit the backyard basketball began (Bella taking on all takers)

Then people hit the town for the night

 More family time on Nick's actual birthday!

 

 

 Another day we escaped the city for a day at Healesville Santuary, where the animals are wild and the meat pies are great!

 

 We flew with wedgetail eagles and swam platypies (platypus)

 And we patted wallabies :-)

On the way back to the city we hit up a nice rustic brewery/vineyard.
